INVERELL FC AGM 2026

Inverell FC Annual General Meeting (AGM) is to held on Wednesday 12th November 2026

7pm at the Inverell Sporting Complex, Clubhouse.

Our club committee oversees the running of both the senior and junior football clubs, with over 500 members. There are many different roles involved with Inverell FC, and we welcome people who are passionate, reliable, and committed to supporting grassroots sport to join our committee.

What makes a good committee member?
 

  • Passionate about the club – genuinely interested in helping Inverell FC grow and succeed.

  • Committed and dependable – willing to contribute their time and follow through on responsibilities.

  • Team-oriented – works well with others, listens, and contributes positively to discussions and decisions.

  • Proactive and positive – brings ideas, helps solve problems, and supports club activities with enthusiasm.

Inverell Football Club – Role Descriptions

Executive Committee

Positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Publicity Officer
 

Overview:
The Executive Committee oversees all club operations, ensuring smooth governance, financial management, and communication across all departments.

President: Provides leadership and direction to the club, chairs meetings, represents the club at official functions, and ensures strategic goals are achieved.
 

Vice President: Supports the President and acts as deputy when required. Oversees key projects and assists with strategic planning.
 

Secretary: Manages club administration, meeting minutes, correspondence, and ensures compliance with association requirements. This includes checking emails and messenger, communicating with the committee and responding.
 

Treasurer: Manages finances, prepares budgets, oversees transactions, and ensures accurate financial reporting.
 

Registrar: Coordinates player registrations, junior and senior, maintains records, and liaises with NI Football and committee regarding team lists and player eligibility.
 

Publicity Officer: Promotes the club through media, social channels, and community engagement to enhance visibility and support.
 

 

Senior Football

Head of Senior Football: Leads senior teams, oversees player and coach coordination, ensures smooth operations for senior competitions. Checks in with the Executive Committee at meetings by providing a report. Brings all ideas and programs to general meetings to be passed via committee.  Attends Senior Football social events for both mens and womens.
Social Media Manager: Manages social platforms to promote senior games, players, and achievements.
Senior Coaches: Plan and conduct training, develop player skills, and manage game-day operations. Must communicate with NI Football and committee while operating within the FFA and Inverell FC Code of Conduct. Coaches required for all teams and grades including men and women's football.
Women’s Football Representative: Advocates for women’s football development, player support, and growth initiatives.
BBQ and Bar Coordinator: Organises food and beverage operations during match days and events to support club fundraising.

 

Junior Football

Head of Junior Football: Oversees all junior teams, coordinates with coaches and parents, ensures a positive environment for young players.
Social Media Manager: Promotes junior football activities and events through digital channels.
Girls Football Representative: Supports participation and retention of girls in football and encourages inclusive practices.

Carnival Coordinator: Plans and manages club-hosted carnivals or tournaments, ensuring smooth logistics and participation. Includes registrations, payments, teams, presentation.
Canteen Coordinator: Oversees canteen operations, stock management, and volunteer scheduling.

 

Junior Coaching Coordinator

Junior Community Coaches: Coaches responsible for grassroots and community-level teams, focusing on skill development and enjoyment. This can be Community training events and Saturday Coaches for teams. The coordinator must supervise and check in with coaches to make sure they are operating within Inverell FC policy.
Junior Development Coaches: Focus on advanced skill training, mentoring, and pathways for junior players.

 

Referee Coordinators

Senior Referees: Manage and officiate senior games, mentor junior referees, and ensure fair play and rule compliance. Communicate with NI Football.
Junior Referees: Find and develop young referees through education and supervision. Assigning referees to Saturday games for ages 10 and above. 

 

Grounds

Set Up / Pack Up Team: Ensures fields are properly prepared for matches, including goalposts, line marking, and signage, and returns grounds to original condition after games. Ensures equipment is safe for use and maintained. Keeps the storage shed organised and clean (also responsibility of all members). 

 

Fundraiser Coordinator

Plan and execute fundraising events, sponsorship drives, and initiatives to support club operations and development projects.
